As the weather heats up, we tend to shed unnecessary layers of clothing. When the short-shorts come out, no one wants to carry around a huge purse. So when you grab that teeny tote, keep in mind you’ll have to lighten your makeup bag.
Try to bring along only a few key items you need throughout the day.
A good idea is to look for multi-purpose products that can be used on more than one area.
Look for double-ended wands that have a lipstick on one end, and mascara on the other. Some companies even let you mix and match.
Keep in mind your existing products can also be used in innovative ways.
If you have a shimmery bronzing stick, swipe some on lids and lips for a bronze-goddess look.
Your lipstick can double as a blush; just keep it away from eye areas. In general, try to keep and lip products away from eyes in order to prevent transfer of bacteria.
If you’re out of shadow, smudge eyeliner around your eye rim and rub it into crease for a quick smoldering eye.
And to cover your bases, invest in a tinted SPF moisturizer.
Everything you need doesn’t need to take up a lot of space!
